Air Show @ Randolph

We went to the air show a couple of weeks ago and I really didn't look closely at the pictures I took, they just didn't seem all that great because of the only lens I have. Well I had the day off
and was doing some edits and decided to play with the airplanes...not too bad, I think.

Guilty Pleasures-What's on your DVR?

Since I'm not home enough to watch TV I record these on my DVR. These are my absolute favorites! I love this time of the season when they're all new episodes. I know I should be cleaning house or something, instead of catching up on the shows, but hey, life is short.
1. DEXTER - (SHOWTIME) The best show on Cable! He's a seriously disturbed serial killer, but only kills bad guys, works for the police dept., weird huh? I do not miss an episode of Dexter, EVER.
2. UGLY BETTY - Can't get enough, fashion, comedy, romance, drama, all in one.
3. PROJECT RUNWAY - The only reality show I watch. Tim Gunn is the bomb! This show gives me so much inspiration to create, everytime I watch it.
4. DANCING WITH THE STARS - I want to dance like that!
5. BIG LOVE - (HBO) If any man thinks that polygamy is a good thing...just watch this show. Three wives beating you up everyday instead of just one? It's a good show, but I think I watch because I'm waiting to see if it all falls apart. (It's only in season 2, so I think if it does fall apart it will take some time) Personal opinion regarding polygamy---it's just a way for these men to have their cake and eat it too, nothing more, nothing less.

Meet Bob's brother, Ray

Ray is Bob's little brother.

We call him Ray because he

moves his head around like

Ray Charles when he tries to

focus in on us. Notice his eyes

are different colors? Cool, huh?

Want him? He's available!

What a cutie.

I'm currently searching

every inch of the outside

Happy Halloween

This year I spent Halloween at the track (race horses). You wouldn't know it, but there are several small children that live at the track with their parents who care for the horses. Theses people work 7 days a week, they start as early as 5 a.m., and since most do not have transportation, their recreation consists of playing soccer or basketball in the dorm areas. This is not just a job for them, it's their entire existence. When the meet is over, most will move on to Houston for their meet, then from there they go to Grand Prairie, near Dallas, taking their children with them. It's nice that we can offer something special for them, even something as simple as hot dogs and trick or treating. Most of these kids don't speak English and have very little in the way of toys and clothing, so you can see it in their faces how much they appreciate just the little bit that we can do for them. I've attached some of my favorite pictures from Wednesday's Halloween party. We had a face painter volunteer her services, Retama Park donated hot dogs and drinks, I did the photography and the trainers passed out candy at their barns. It was the best time I've ever had at Halloween. All of this was organized by the track Chaplain (Chaplain Mike), who is amazing with children. He truly was the Pied Piper of the night, the kids just flocked around him all night.

Chaplain Mike lined all the kids up for a race, I think it was to wear their butts out!

This horse was perfect to play a 70's Peace Lovin Animal. Notice his eyes are half closed and his tongue is sticking out. We think he was smoking something earlier. Seriously though, this horse had just placed second in a $100,000 futurity race! And he's this mellow? Amazing.
