I'm so relieved!
Two weeks ago I got an email from Etsy, I FINALLY SOLD A PRINT!! (it was the vulture print) I thought I would have been elated but instantly I was stricken with fear. Is the buyer going to like it? Will it ship safely? What if the quality is crappy and only I think it's good? So with a churning stomach, I packed it up, and shipped it away. It should have arrived within a few days, but I got no feedback from the buyer. Oh crap, she hated it! I was so worried she would write a negative feedback comment, everyone can read those! Now here it is two full weeks later and I got my comment! SHE LIKED IT!!!!!!! She said it was a beautiful print and recommends me as a seller! How sweet is that? I'm getting more prints ordered pronto!

Shut that @$%$ dog up!!!
Ay carumba! Have you ever had a neighborhood dog that just wouldn't shut up? But you can't confront the owners, for whatever reason? I have created a 'greeting card' that, hopefully, will end your woes. Send this card anonymously to the offender's owners. Check it out at kimbee935.etsy.com
here's a preview...

My first professional photo shoot!
I had my first professional shoot the other day, it's considered pro if you get paid right? I hope buying lunch qualifies as payment...otherwise, I'm still amature. This is Tabitha, she's our Test Barn Supervisor at Retama and she needed some head shots for her 'other' job as a real estate agent. She asked if I would do them and I said, well, ok! But don't expect the best results, I'm still not that good. We had a few really good ones for head shots then I started playing and came up with this one just for fun...it's easy to get good photographs when the subject is easy on the eyes!

Corpus Christi Texas y'all

My aunt and cousin came to San Antonio last week from California. It was so great to see them, brought back so many memories just hearing the sound of their voices. Since I couldn't fit in any of their suitcases to go back home with them, I decided to drive down to the coast for the day with my boys. Of course the Texas coast is nothing in comparison to the California coast...but I guess it's better than nothing. Here are a few shots I took down there that will be going on greeting cards for Etsy.
